FARO ARM SOFTWARE HELP

Help File Revision:  January 5, 2009

WHAT DOES THIS SOFTWARE DO?

Data Bridge for Faro Arms Software can save many hours of tedious work when you are doing capability studies with the Faro Arm.  When a Faro Arm is used to collect data for a statistical capability study, the data for each part being measured is typically saved in a separate CSV file (e.g. if 30 parts are measured there will be 30 separate CSV files).

Data Bridge for Faro Arms Software consolidates all of the CSV files from a single folder into a single Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet (each separate file is imported into a separate worksheet within the workbook).

Once in Excel, the Data Bridge FaroCSV toolbar allows the user to pick and choose which data points will be used in the statistical study.  Each data point selected for statistical analysis is copied to the “Useful Data” worksheet in the Excel Workbook.

Data on the “Useful Data” sheet can be analyzed in Excel or copied to a Statistical Software package.
