History: Schultz Engineering, LLC was founded by Kraig and Maggie Schultz in 2002.
Kraig has a B.S. Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Ferris State University and over 20 years of experience launching new products and improving processes in the Automotive, Software, Aerospace and Furniture industries. Kraig has helped start several companies and has helped over 20 companies implement quality management systems.
Maggie has a Product Design Degree from Ferris State University and over 10 years of product design experience.
As a parents and concerned citizens, we have chosen to lead Schultz Engineering in endevours to develop products to support peaceful, sustainable and energy efficient lifestyles.
We are deeply concerned about making the planet a better place for our children and grand children. We have enough technical knowledge to make it happen today; but we often lack the moral courage to take actions that are not driven by short-term profits and consumerism. We cannot expect this shift to come from other people. Each of us must choose to become the change we'd like to see in our world.
- From 2002 to 2008, Schultz Engineering designed, produced and sold custom motorcycle parts for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.
- In 2007, we began developing alternative energy products.

The Future: We are dedicated to the realization of the following items:
- Bringing a PTV Personal Transportation Vehicle to market.
- Bringing manufacturing jobs back to West Michigan and the U.S.A.
- Spending time sharing a hopeful vision of the future with our youth through community outreach and involvement (e.g. SE, LLC National Tour and involvement with Boy Scouts of America).
How Can You Help?: Schultz Engineering exists to fund the research and development of products that will make our world a better place. We fund our work by contracting our time as engineers and by investing our own money to build prototypes. We'd like to do more, but we work only with current revenue and must manage on a very tight budget. We welcome any support you'd like to share with us; Ideas, time or money.
